SERVICES :  Sundays 9:00 and 11:00 AM

Prophetic Ministry

As believers, one of the greatest blessing we have outside of our salvation is that we serve a God who is not silent.  A God, who is our Father in Heaven; our Savior, Master and Friend.  A God who dwells amongst us and lives in us by the power of the Holy Spirit.

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

1 Corinthians 3:16 (NKJV)

He is a God who loves us and desires to have a relationship with us.  And in every healthy relationship there is a communication exchange.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:27 (KJV) 27

Even as we give gifts to others to communicate our heart, our God has given gifts to the Body of Christ to communicate His heart to man.

7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 (NIV)

The CLC Prophetic Ministry is a group of men and women who have recognized the gifts that the Lord has given to them.  They have cultivated them so they can minister the heart of the Father to His people through the vehicle of communication. They are a team who endeavor to walk in an attitude of submission to the Word of God and to His divine authority, fueled by love as they represent God’s heart to His people. Their mission is to make disciples for the Kingdom by ministering the life of God through the vehicle of prophetic utterance.

Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy.

1 Corinthians 14:1 (NLT)

Here at CLC, we believe that through the power and person of the Holy Spirit, God still speaks.  His words affirm us, encourage us, align us and reveal to us God’s divine destiny.  These Words are released by the anointing of the Holy Spirit through His servants.  These words confirm and affirm the Truth in God’s Word to us and for us.  We are encouraged by scripture to embrace the words that are spoken and to be diligent to pursue God’s will for our life as revealed through His written and spoken word.

14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.

1 Timothy 4:14 (NIV)

The CLC Prophetic Team ministers after each Sunday service as a part of the Altar Ministry Team and during our scheduled Downpour Services.  They also serve during special service events.  If you would like more information regarding the CLC  Prophetic Ministry, please contact Christine Wengert at Christine.Wengert@clifechurch.com or (207) 449-3824 x 213.
